yeah i agree, it feels like they just use telegram a lot and thus see the icon when they close their eyes, lol
Swedneck
"e-note" as if that helps anyone understand anything
this is actually an amazing concept for a story, there are so many dynamics that could arise out of this.
It would just be a standard part of burials for someone to be assigned the brain of the deceased, with rituals to make it less disgusting and kinda hide that fact.
But since you're gaining their memories, it would also be kind of harrowing to be the assigned inheritor, you're basically just taking their entire mind into you, so you might end up designating an "avatar" person who is never given a chance to form their own personality and instead just spends their entire life carrying the sum total experience of those before them, and only rarely would someone else consume the memories of another if it's vital that they specifically gain that specific knowledge.
Like good lord, imagine having a legitimate god-emperor who is the physical embodiment of all those who have come before, who you yourself will almost certainly become part of when you die (unless your body is lost)..
Then imagine that person dying and the brain being lost, cutting off the 10 thousand year unbroken lineage.. terrifying
they're literally just talking about telegram, which uses a paper plane, which looks like the navigation arrow.
so this is how i learn that gmail has AI shit integrated, lmao
people still speak the native language most of the time, sweden isn't that far behind on amount of people who can speak english (mostly just old people lowering the percentage), and i'm almost certain what's going to happen is just that our languages incorporate a shitload of english loan words and phrases, like a lite version of taglish in the phillipines
awww hello puppy!
ohhhh ohhhh god my bones, ow ooof my bones, aaaaaaa
the coming winter is going to be terrifying
communists do bad things in the process of doing good things
capitalists do good things in the process of doing bad things
yeah this isn't an alternate universe, just a matter of finding the right person
now i have to ask, do y'all actually genuinely boil this kind of hot dog? like we boil hot dogs in sweden but it's a very different variant with proper skin
honestly it still feels a bit wrong that we don't reach 90%, even my grandma could understand and probably stammer out the odd sentence if she had to, and everyone is exposed to english all the time.
