They’re really reaching with the excuses.

Thanks for making this!

Though it’s ironic the community is using the Lemmy logo.

Yup, I got that style of comment when someone asked me “Why are you using reddit then?” even if I used it more that doesn’t invalidate my argument.

At the aforementioned r/buycanadian, this act has tripled our daily average recently and it looks Lemmy.zip got a boost too since I mentioned Voyager.

That's nice to see Tuta covering us!

Thank you for the suggestion, we got a good round of folks signing up ;)

Update: they took it down.... despite the fact the thread was popping interesting discussion.

Update 2: Otter has stated they have seen a surge of signups thanks to my post, good thing I included lemmy.ca in the title 🤩

Update 3: I think I will try to make a better post next time since it broke the "no calls to boycott" rule. I will just focus on discussing Lemmy.ca and Piefed.ca without dishing on Reddit.

Update 4: its looks like we gained 3 times our daily average today and Lemmy.zip is receiving the push too!

Good job! That's a new instance to me!

Sure! I can make !privacy@programming.dev my main community! I was wondering why you were posting there instead.

The moderators are good but it would be better if they can transplant all their users to here instead.
