The Supreme course case you provided is a very good point to make.

I think what OP meant however was more of invalidating the electoral votes that went to Trump in those states. This would remove a significant number of votes and potentially put him below the 270 mark. I don't think it'll work out because like you said, Trump stacked the Supreme Court in his favor last time around. Any challenges will be shut down by them.

Left leaning people do too good a job of shooting ourselves in the foot by alienating people who don't 100% prescribe to the same beliefs we have. The reality is people are all over the political spectrum and that's not always a bad thing. Finding common ground and working together is what governance is all about.

Boy oh boy did they screw up on this topic. I guess the DNC got their cheque and left laughing as the rest of the world continues to get fucked.

This seems to he based on a lot of hypothetical and not actual data.

The study examined the carbon footprint associated with each user per minute by incorporating the emissions associated with data centers, which made up about 99% of the footprint, and the emissions associated with charging devices after using the platforms.

TikTok’s emissions are the most opaque of the social media platforms. Tech giants such as Meta and Google release detailed reports to the Carbon Disclosure Project every year, even posting their findings to their respective websites. TikTok has no publicly available emissions data.

It's just the theoretical output of emissions needed to run a Data Centre based off viewers and average time spent. While these are all rough numbers it could also very well be that the Data Centre's are powered at least in part by renewables.

So it would make sense that Tiktok would use up a lot of electricity for its platform. We just can't be sure how much of it actually translates into more emissions.

It's due to the housing crisis. If we had the infrastructure to support the influx of immigrants, Canadians wouldn't be so opposed to them.

They're not Canadian. They're Quebecois, remember?

I'm seeing some discussions about random communities moving off of .world. Is there any reason for it?

I noticed it's considerably worse when I run outside on the street/sidewalk as opposed to on a treadmill. I usually run first thing in the morning so I've taken a few minutes to stretch my legs thinking that may be the cause but it hasn't really helped. The only other thing I can think of is that I have flat feet.

Anyone else deal with this and have an idea on how to overcome it?
