When I was younger I wanted to right stories. I started planning things out a few times in this kind of formulaic manner, and realized that all of my ideas were reactionary trash. They weren't going to be interesting as finished works. And then it clicked for me why so much media was also trash. A world created out pretense is just beating people over the head with the author's worldview. I didn't enjoy those works and I didn't honestly want to make more of them. That funneled me more toward "proper" art. And once in the art world, I realized that there is no market for art because consumers want power fantasies that reaffirm their biases. There are exceptions, but those authors are all skilled far beyond my caliber.

I now have intense reservations toward anyone expressing interest in fantasy worlds, from LotR to superheroes. I like Shadowrun but if someone else tells me they like it, I'm still going to interrogate them over why they like it lol. And I wouldn't blame them in the least if they did the same to me.

Northrop has a market cap of 69.491B, Boeing 110B, and Lockheed 111B.

Millennials have under 10% of wealth among generations in the US, and I can't even find data for Gen Z but these protesters are students mostly fresh out of high school. They don't have anywhere near the necessary amount of wealth, even if they pooled every penny that every one of them owns.

These people are either not speaking in good faith, or are superbly incompetent. But that surprises no one, I'm sure.

Look I don't eat meat, but I'll eat whatever sort of food that contraption makes. It looks fucking awesome.

It's pretty high up the list of my all-time favorites. It blew away my expectations.

Putin himself could be one of the protestors and it really wouldn't change anything. No one is paying the vast majority of protestors out there putting themselves in harm's way. That's real energy, and it has to be reckoned with if a country is going to function. And yet dispersing it might win the election - clearly already a broken country.

I should hope many of the professors do too, at a school as prestigious as Stanford.

What a beautiful stroke of fate.

His wife is indicted, too!

Similarly, I really appreciate what XR (for example) is doing, but I worry that all of the good climate activists are going to get catalogued before they can really contribute.

The moderate conservative was their target in the last cycle, too. And this will be a lot more convincing to them than anything he did last campaign season.

He's trying to shame the opposition into silence. Just like he's campaigning on shaming people into voting for him. It's gross.

Trump was pres during BLM, so it should be pretty easy for voters to compare and contrast their responses.

Unfortunately, I think that most US voters are probably in favor of a quick crackdown and doing so could actually earn Biden swing votes. :(

I think frequency of meals and acidic food/drink are additional factors. Also, keep in mind that fruit and especially fruit juice may not have added sugar but they are still very sugary. That's all I can think of right now.
