This is so sad. They didn't used to do this. They seem to think humanity is at war with them and are fighting back. This is the canary in the coal mine dying, but for our oceans.

Protectionism can probably be done right, but this isn't it. I think the US will fall further behind and so will it's "green" transition (especially if Tesla actually implodes and takes its vendors with it).

I also know that the US is not going to push back against consumerism, so it doesn't matter how many products like cars that they make more efficient - they will always want more. And also that EV adoption enables the US to continue ignoring public transportation.

Maybe the tariffs will kill US industry in a state of climate chaos where it can't recover, and this is the degrowth we've been asking for all along?

I've only played a little DS, but Sekiro was a great game. The NG+ is for unlocking the rest of the skills, endings, etc. The XP and enemy stats scale. I used a guide for progressing parts of Sekiro but there's only one weapon and no armor, which I think you might like. There's still skills and abilities but honestly you don't even need to use them if you really like the basic combat mechanics. iirc one of the biggest differences from DS is that you will parry often and dodge less in Sekiro, but the parry windows are easier.

Congrats on beating DS3!

I already have a sleep disorder, fuck REM sleep. Plus it makes the bad dreams go away so I've really got nothing to complain about.

You could try washing away the glasses cleaner with copious amounts of isopropyl alcohol. I'd also wipe it down with a damp cloth after and let it dry out.

"dadaist stoner"

You nailed that description lol

Remember when the IDW started their grift? And when people started quoting Peterson like he was an atheist? Just a whole bunch of cringe, and people who never actually outgrew their brainworms.

Something to facilitate mutual aid and dual power. We're going to need it with the way climate change is going.

ugh I watched this happen in realtime

Yes, that is what I mean. It's true but it's clearly not what he is trying to say.

A big reason for the resistance: Farms don’t want to be identified publicly as potential hotspots for the virus, nor do they want to draw scrutiny to their workers, a significant proportion of whom are undocumented immigrants and fearful of government officials.

Ah, so they want the right to defraud consumers and normalization of breaking labor law. Is Lisa Khan going to bring another half-baked suit that fails and gives them precedence?

I'm going to pretend he's talking about hate against Palestinians since the headline didn't specify.

One popular but vulgar version of nihilism is guilty of this.

Bring back existentialism! Make philosophy out of my cocktail, and meaning out of life rather than death.
