Not exactly the same.

Plasma 6 still installs the X11 session. This change will make it so the Gnome X11 session is not getting installed by deafult, so you need to install it yourself if you need it. In Plasma 6, you just change to the X11 session in your Display Manager.

Maybe account deletion is not turned on.

I had a crying teenager, so I wouldn't call it peaceful. ;)

Silverbullet looks pretty easy to set up. Can you change the font and such it uses?

I don't know any lightweight options, but as VS-Code was suggested, I'd like to suggest Hedgedoc too.

I might be a bit paranoid here, but I would just re-install the system. Could be some malicious stuff at work here.

Same here. I have a few static sites setup to just be served via nginx.

Ah, that's good to hear. So my system will come back up, it will just complain until I do these microcode changes.

So your post/comment was just being preemptive of future changes. :)

Update to QT6

This one is a big thing. Lots of stuff changed between qt5 and qt6, so it was a massive effort to get done. They also used this "rewrite" to clean up the code a lot.

Okay. But they do state in the announcement, that to ensure that no breaking occurs, they introduced some conflicts. So even if I just update packages, I should get my system up and running and be able to make any changes when they are required?

They don't mention anywhere that manual intervention is required for this update.

As I read the announcement it sounds like you only need to do changes if you setup early-microcode stuff. So if you have a completely standard install, no changes would be needed other than updating packages.

Am I wrong in this?
