I personally think we should at least consider aiming a little higher than barely staying alive

I was so sad when wokeness made those planes crash into the World Trade Center

It is shocking to me just how small of a distance the solidarity of artists reaches when it comes to being replaced by AI. No matter how much something is "grunt work", it puts food on someone's table. I've seen artists welcome people being replaced by technology when it comes to animators, people working on movie VFX, performing musicians, translators, some types of writers, and just generally wishing it on customer service jobs and factory work. But with artists there is always some pseudophilosophical definition of art that makes your jobs special and uniquely tragic when they are replaced. How are you expecting to build a movement around this?

The new episode of Shogun has a scene where the subtitles say "[Mariko praying in Japanese]", but she is very clearly praying in Latin, how did these translators think "Pater Noster" is Japanese? She is Catholic, of course she is using Latin.

I hate when people use mental illness as a metaphor to explain why people disagree with them, it sucks for so many reasons

The new Jimquisition spends most of the video complaining about Dragon's Dogma 2 shamelessly squeezing money from players by clearly artificially limiting fast travel so they can sell the consumables needed for it for real money. The problem is, that these specific consumables are not for sale as DLC, some other Gamers mistook another thing they do sell as them. The whole video centers on this, please do at least some fact-checking.

This seems to be about medical uses where the dosage is orders of magnitudes bigger than in food coloring

I would be a little skeptical about this, activated carbon is used to color black licorice, and if that made birth control pills not work I'm pretty sure it would be bigger news.

It's Latin for "[person] with tribute", the fact that ejaculate is used in incidental

I came across a pawn in Dragon's Dogma 2 that was Kabru from Dungeon Meshi. My brain immediately went "ah, you can edit eyes individually in the character creator, I know what you are". And wouldn't you know it, the pawn's Arisen is called Mithrun. I don't know what it says about me that I made the connection in like half a second.

In my experience all bagged Earl Greys are a little stingy with the bergamot, but it does become a little disgusting when there is too much of it so maybe they are erring on the side of caution. You should try a loose leaf from a local tea shop (sorry to be that tea guy), it'll probably even be cheaper.
