Thanks for explaining your setup. πŸ‘Sounds a bit hacky too. Unexplained crashes are damn hard to work out

Thanks for this. It looks interesting.

Not sure if it is right or not bit I'll take a look!

Tempo the android app?

I don't think that helps in controlling speakers?

Wow, you were not wrong!

I tired reading it and just couldn't get into it at all. Which is a shame because I've heard good things

Wheel of time I assume

I'm happy to pay if it's good, but it just feels a bit overkill for what we are after.

This one right? Looks like it's $9.99, I'll check on my partners phone and see if it's the same on the actual app store

Thanks for the info, it just seems so strange that there are loads of options on Android and so few on IOS. Everyone seems to have designed their own cloud back up system complete with subscription service.

It does look like "2do" is an option but it is Β£9.99 and there doesn't seem to be a trial

[–] Starfarer@lemmy.today 2 points 1 year ago

Ah, that doesn't fill the with confidence!

I'll be sure to post back here if I find anything

Forgive the ignorance but does xmpp have the same features as signal, particularly around e2e encryption?

[–] Starfarer@lemmy.today 1 points 2 years ago
