We say every scifi dystopia is better than our world because our world sucks so bad not because the dystopia is cool

You won't be happy when you find out, I am pretty sure.

  1. ASMR is platonic BDSM. Our generation had jackasss for platonic BDSM. Theirs is more based on comfort and sensory play.

It skipped our generations due to IP laws but that was how most the legends of old came to be I am pretty sure. " no, our hero was raised by wolves and built this city himself"

Do you mean you don't get why they like it or don't feel the vibe cause it isn't hard to explain.

I feel like I am keeping up well with the younger generation. A sometimes I feel weird about it like I should stop liking new music at some point but I haven't yet.

I have a small.social network but it would definitely not meet my human interaction needs without the website here. I don't know of any other places on thr internet with anything like this quality of vibe so it would be a serious blow for my mental health to lose it for sure.

At one point they go to planet that recreates a 1800s England and there a scene about how unions ruin everything. Also some weird sexual violence so the politics are rough. I seems to me the book isn't worth going back to but if you feel different I'd hear your assessment.

Universalists seem chill but I don't hear about them doing big moves. Like, I have been to meetings of cool groups in their space, which is nice. Back when it was a thing I went to a few secular humanist meetings there. It was a funny juxtaposition

That is a plot point in one if the dune books if I recall. I think they actually get close to it in some of the latter termination films before they pull back as well.

In the way of old sci-fi it was pro monarchy, specifically anti union, libertarian, somewhat objectivist. Pro collectivist insofar as it allowed for orgies. So just a mess all over.

I remember the royal family was specifically referenced as trustworthy because they were too rich to bribe. Which is the most powerful reddit brained idea.

The princess who has literally magic knowledge directly from the gods is a dick to nomadic horse archers. She gets her shit wrecked as would be expected in that scenario. Then some immortal demon twink has to do war crimes
