Side note you may enjoy the game everhood, your music is reminding me of that game's soundtrack and I played the whole thing on mushrooms it was a magical experience.
I considered it but I enjoy looking at my old posts since it's sorta nostalgic, plus I had like, 20 total over the 8 years I used reddit.
For me the main factor was replies slanted extremely mean on Reddit, whereas here it's only been polite conversation so far.
I'm perfectly willing to talk on a platform where I'm not getting death threats because I didn't like a videogame or whatever.
Same, plus it's nice that people aren't hyper aggressive like Reddit was, nearly every time I commented someone told me to kill myself/ called me an idiot.
According to fediverse observer Lemmy hit 2.2 million users to mastodons 8 million, so it's up to like 17% now!

The people that run signal are a fair bit sketchy though, telegram is a generally better option.
I switched to protonvpn recently and it seems pretty good, I was getting a lot of websites blocking me when I was using PIA and that seems to not be a problem with proton.
Oh that's a shame, hopefully this will spur someone else to pick up cracking devuvo at least
