It could just be me but I think this is what you would call a "vacation."

A 2-hour audiobook summed up in a green-text-esque format. Nicely done.

Thanks Reddit for giving me yet another reason not to go back

Syndicate from 1993. Don't know if that fulfills the "RPG" part of Tactical RPG but it's definitely worth a play.

Remember when, at the dawn of the decade, conservative media would whine about "BIG TECH CENSORSHIP!"?

Those were the days. /s

Do you have any more info on that particular story? Research purposes.

Nuclear always comes up when discussing the energy transition but renewables seem to be a much more popular consideration. Can nuclear energy help us towards a greener future or is it a long dead dream?

A bit more fast tepo for this sub but I think it fits well.

I've never done any sort of home networking or self-hosting of any kind but thanks to Jellyfin and Mastodon I've become interested in the idea. As I understand it, physical servers ("bare metal" correct?) are PCs intended for data storing and hosting services instead of being used as a daily driver like my desktop. From my (admittedly) limited research, dedicated servers are a bit expensive. However, it seems that you can convert an old PC and even laptop into a server (examples here and here). But should I use that or are there dedicated servers at "affordable" price points. Since is this is first experience with self-hosting, which would be a better route to take?

I expect and even encourage multiple anwsers. My main concern is computer parts and other tech related products but other specialities welcomed.

Only Fairphone 4 is currently available in the US via their US partner Murena. While I could get that one, I want to support Fairphone by boosting sales of their current model. If I were to buy one and put in a US SIM card, would I be able to make and receive calls?
