It was a long time ago, but I thought I heard Steam would remove their DRM and the games would not require authentication.
Though I doubt you would be able to redownload anything if their servers shut down though.

The method I like to use is to shock them in ice which allows greater cooking control and makes the shell easier to peel.

The longer you let them sit in the hot water, the harder the egg is boiled. Then put them in an ice bath for a minute and ready to go. The recipe below says to crack them before putting them in ice, but I've never done that.
