Are you saying that if a company adopts AI to replace a job, they should have to help the replaced workers find new work? Sounds like something one can loophole by cutting the department for totally unrelated reasons before coincidentally realizing that they can have AI do that work, which they totally didn't think of before firing people.

Yup, that's me. Only have a handful of active interests at a time. But a couple of those are free floating interest slots that I'll swap out every month or few as I really dig into something new. And then everything else gets moved into passive interest territory, where I'm not seeking it out but can still relate or engage if it comes up again. So that's how I live with it.
Cave Johnson here. Some of the eggheads from astronomy are jabbering about how you shouldn't look in the direction of the sun while indoors, because apparently moon rocks don't block UV light, and our walls are made of the darn stuff. I say ignore them. Just wear some sunglasses and you'll be fine. And while we're at it, let's get those lab boys to slap a fresh coat of paint on the walls, and we'll call it a day.

I'm not planning on driving anytime soon, but having a space where I can just jam out without anybody hearing me is tempting. Being a pedestrian living in a dorm in a city, I do not get as much jam time as I'd like.
