That last part is transphobic. No trans person represents the trans community and setting higher standards for trans people than cis people is transphobic. You can call them out for being a troll, but using someone’s gender identity in an insult is always transphobic.

It doesn’t support your position at all because I’ll repeat, Biden held all the cards when he was president. He could just threaten to stop sending weapons.

Biden was never willing to put any pressure on Israel. With the US holding all the cards since they’re the primary funders of Israel’s war efforts, Biden had every opportunity to force a ceasefire before Trump did.
The idea that Trump had any power over Biden while Biden could just decide to stop sending weapons is extremely naive. It’s an attempt to dismiss democrat’s complicity in the genocide on the Palestinian people. We should never forget that both the democrats and the republicans are fully supportive of this horrific genocide.
I don’t really appreciate you publishing part of a message I sent you in private. Also, you’re misrepresenting my arguments and intentions. I shared my experience because your post implies that people like me don’t exist or matter. I never denied the harm it can cause if someone acts like they know more about someone’s identity than they do. Which is ironic because in your comment you’re implying you know more about my trans journey than I do.
I get the idea of the meme but have friends in Gaza who regret that they weren’t one of the hundreds of thousands of people who were killed, because the people who are still alive have been going through worse than hell. It just feels tasteless to make light of all that suffering with jokes like this.
I have several objections towards the way the egg directive is used and worded, maybe someday I’ll write them out completely.
Mostly has to do with the fact the harm it’s supposed to prevent can also be prevented by just following the human decency of not assuming you know someones identity better than they do. Plus the fact that the way the directive is brought up often scares trans people out of sharing when they relate with something. And then there’s the fact that in this cisnormative world everyone is constantly assumed to be cis which is never called out the same way as when someone assumes a person is trans.
