Isn't that the whole point of a "Team Canada approach"? All the provinces have their own needs and abilities, but we need some sort of coordination to make sure we're all aiming for the same goal. And while housing may not directly be their responsibility the feds should be there for the assist with whatever the provinces need but can't do themselves.

Do we manufacture the gold toilets, or just supply the gold?
Pretty much every car built anywhere in North America has parts from at least 2 of the 3 countries, not to mention China. Sometimes parts end up going across the border multiple times before they end up as a fully assembled car.
These are all way better than any tariffs we could respond with.
No, that kinda fucks over most of us who are just getting by. If someone can't afford to buy gas how would they be able to afford an EV? We need the prices to drop to a level everyone wants to buy an EV, not make every option cripplingly expensive.
Why would we waste time with a new agreement in the next 4 years when it won't be worth the paper it's printed on?
If we were on DST that would be 5:30ish.
Yeah, personally this made me question why a lot of these grocery and child products were taxed to begin with. I guess I never paid enough attention, I assumed a bunch were but I guess I was confusing it with PST.
Yeah, based on my own experience any time I see an employer make a statement about negotiations I assume everything they didn't mention about their offer is absolute garbage.
"This union is so greedy, look at this 25% wage increase they denied."
I have to assume they're also asking for concessions like no overtime pay and changing scheduled shifts up until the last second.
Is "forced-labour" not synonymous with slavery?
If you want mountains, you're kinda limited. Vancouver, BC, has great mountains, ocean, and forest access, but COL is pretty high ~~for Canada~~ compared to almost anywhere in the world. Calgary, AB is the closest city to the Canadian Rockies, but is in the middle of nowhere elsewise.
Slight clarification
I think we need a rental tax credit. Whether it's partial or fully tax exempt, doesn't really matter. If every renter was reporting their rent payments on their taxes it would be impossible for landlords to dodge their own taxes, thereby shifting the tax burden where it belongs.
