I got it for the first time at the beginning of September. I was so pissed, my 2.5 year streak of avoiding it gone. It was pretty brutal too, the fever and muscle soreness was no joke.

One of my cats used to be this way. She was also a former stray, so I assumed it was from that. It got worse when I started feeding her at specific times because she got too fat. I had a problem when I got a new cat though because he wouldn't eat everything in one go but I also couldn't free feed because then my girl would just eat everything. I gave her a dewormer (which I never did because they're indoor only cats) and while she did have some problems with diarrhea for a little while, the food obsession is totally gone now. So it may be worth it to see if there's an underlying issue at play. It's normal for former strays to be like this for a while but after a few months or years they should learn to trust there'll always be food.
I think it's just confirmation bias that stems from the meme. I've had four cats in my life: an orange tabby tomcat, a black tomcat, a white and orange girl and a grey tabby girl. The orange tabby tomcat was the smartest by a mile out of all of them and the grey tabby girl was the dumbest by a 100 miles. Orange and white girl is the second dumbest and the black tomcat second smartest.
But people aren't gonna post their average or smart orange cats or their dumb non-orange cats on the internet because it doesn't fit into a specific meme/sub/community. So now it seems like there's heavy correlation, but there really isn't.
You're like that one power user on old school forums that you would see everywhere and everyone else would know and respect them lmao
I truly don't understand how people have friend groups as adults. It was a pain in the ass to get my 6 friends (two separate groups of 3) together for my birthday with a month notice. One of those friends has a big friend group from high school and now that they're all around 25 they're starting to find out just how little opportunity there is to get 12 people together who all live in different places now, have partners, jobs, some even kids already.
Aboriginal Australians also had 'constellations' that were the dark spots in the sky as opposed to the stars. I didn't know some Inca did that as well.
She's Dutch, so she can and does pronounce it the correct way.
Imagine thinking in 2023 that there's still such a thing as 'useless data'
You can tell from the pixels
Hahaha I did the same with a previous cat. She was so fucking dumb, like borderline actually something wrong with her. I would always say thing like 'who is so dumb? Who is the dumbest little cat on the entire planet? You are! You're a little moron! Yes you are!' in a baby voice to her lol.
