Wish I just waited for this originally lol, but now I have an extra steam key for AC or ACC if someone in the community needs it.

Same thing here. If anyone else needs an AC code or ACC code, let me know
I tend to go for more short sprint style races, preferably fixed series on iracing. I like them for that punishment factor it forces me to drive more consistently and build more spacial awareness. But I am also relatively new to sim racing without any real-life racing experience outside a couple of laps at an indoor Karting track. I'm not big on formulating strategy or setups yet as I am more focused on trying to improve/learn proper techniques in my driving so those differences can fuck with me a bit more as I'm not sure if i am just overdriving the car or if i fucked the setup. I'm sure as I get more time in the sim these preferences will change a bit, also because as it sits I don't even have an endurance races available to me yet in iracing so my only other experience is like 20min races in ACC 😅.
LJ has stated nothing is collected once you pay as the ad library is no longer initialized. Other users were able to confirm that no more tracking requests were made after ad free/ultra were purchased.
D-VHS for the win over both of those 😂
Look at all the market strategies that use this simple trick to get people riled up. It's not that we are inherently moving towards tribalism, it's that pushing tribalism generates tons of money. As long as we stay focused on greed and determining worth based on monetary systems, we are doomed to keep falling into that trap. Creating some divide like that is just the easiest and most reliable way to generate interactions with whatever you are trying to push. Plus it primes people to accept something worse off than both parties' situation at the start of the conflict as they now want it over and done with. We can definitely be better if we stop chasing dollars and start chasing community and growth.
You let the bullshit swaps and bonds built around the debt here explode instead of paying them while erasing the obligation from the students, allowing the massive and over leveraged banks positions around these to fail. There needs to be consequences for that type of predatory lending and the biggest problem is not even laws it's enforcement of those laws and the small fines being dished out in comparison making people like you think 1.6T is so massive we cant do shit. The Federal Reserve, a for-profit organization not federal besides its name, have printed and injected about 17T into the banks for relief sense 2017, this is peanuts comparatively and gives millions of people relief and the ability to interact meaningfully with the economy instead of being more enslaved to debt. That creates opportunities, growth, and more chances for someone to be able to donate time and money to charities or other similar types of organizations in their community. Where as now people can't even get time to vote between paying for loans. That helps no one and creates more issues. Your answer of just ignoring the problem adds nothing of value here, nor does it yield any solution, if your gonna attack someone else's position, at least have another one you can actually defend first.
I saw your other post, I do frequently play ACC, AC, Beamng, and iRacing. I usually will take some time in iRacing to set some practice laps before doing any race so I can get my breaking references down again and see if I can find some more grip to send it in spots. Because I take that time I haven't seen any downsides from swapping about, but I am relatively new to iracing with only 1440 iRating in road so far, so I do have major room for improvement and refinement this maybe a higher concern if you are getting really competitive in iRacing however many streamers and esport sim racers do seem to bounce around a good bit so I wouldn't worry too much just keep the same focus. The same skill set for finding grip and exploring the cars' capabilities will always be useful in any sim is just the muscle memory for each will also be slightly different and it will take more time to skill up in any one car if you are also trying to commit 12 other cars to memory if that makes sense.
I haven't ran into many net code issues on iracing but I am pretty new to the service, out of curiosity do you have a server for your country or do you normally have a higher ping when this occurs? I'm curious if there are ways to mitigate this happening besides just having less wheel to wheel racing unless necessary.
I know a big difference between ACC and iRacing is braking. In ACC, it's quicker to always go full brake abusing abs and much quicker lifting of the brake during tail braking. I think this is also a similar difference between AC and iRacing as well. For example in a gt3 car in iracing you may threshold brake up to 80% and slowly bleed off the brakes where as in ACC or AC you are gonna go full 100% brakes and have a much quicker bleed off of the brake. If you are noticing way more lockups when you hop back into iRacing, I'd put money on this being the reason. Go in with this understanding, and it will be like hopping into different cars. I forget which f1 driver said it but it takes about a year to go from being competitive in open wheel to learning what's gonna make you competitive in a heavy gt car, so don't beat yourself up if it takes time to transition between the sims as well. Hope that wasn't too much info and was helpful.
I hadn't created an account til today. I was going to just use sync for reddit with the revanced patch at first but I decided to just ghost reddit until this came out, and now I'm getting my sync fix again lol so far so good, besides there being a bit less content on lemmy vs reddit the experience so far it has been great. Plus, it feels like fewer bots, at least for now, so that's also a major plus.
Can't wait for this!
