I don't think it's a crazy move..
The NHL is about hockey, not about politics. It's a distraction to the game and just a PR stunt. If NHL teams really care about LGBTQ+, maybe they should just donate a couple of millions to LGBTQ+ organisation.

The cisgender-centred power around this story ignored the background of why this happened and the immense, traumatic impact on the trans community. I am only aware of one media organization that interviewed a person from the local trans community. And we must ask ourselves the question, would the outrage have been the same if the girl had been trans?
Unfortunately, the answer is no.
The answer is no because a lot of people feel like having transwomen in a women competition is not fair. That said, it wouldn't matter in this case because this is 9-10 byears old sport event.
This whole article is baiting major outrage because a man decided to be an asshole. This kind of article is the reason why so many people are a less and less sympathetic to LGBTQ stuff.
Pourquoi "chaques interactions sociales est désagréable" ? C'est pas tant normal .. Si tu y trouvés pas ton compte, c'est a toi de diriger la conversation vers des sujets qui vont t'intéresser.
Je me suis souvent demander c'est quoi la différence entre une population qui augmente presqu'entièrement a cause de l'immigration versus une qui augmente a cause des naissances? On aurait tu quand même une crise du logement? Si la société est majoritairement des jeunes familles, est-ce que ça changerait de quoi dans les politiques qu'on a actuellement?

Feels like a simple method would be a login provider that is related to the government. The gov have the best way to identify you and prove that you are who you are. That's how you would get one unique ID that cannot be evaded by simply creating a new account.
Although, if you get banned from a community, there would be no way to get back in it because your gov id would be banned. Maybe the ban appeal could be more official instead of a letter to a random mod and hope you get an answer, hell, why not judiciarice the whole ban appeal thing so that you do have real recourse if you ever get banned for no good reason, a bit like when you get fired from a job.
