Absolutely terrifying and/or beautiful depending on your tolerance for very deep water and the large creatures who inhabit it.
Amazing character with stellar writing (with some of the restored content it’s even better), who is absolutely wrong. I love that she can have complex layered motivations for her actions, can cause players to question why they make certain moral choices, and still be absolutely wrong in the end. It’s great, and I feel it’s missing from a lot of game media.
The US operates torture dungeons worse than the libs’ most inhumane parodic versions of the gulags, on US soil! You can’t call these people out on their hypocrisy, it doesn’t work. There is no internally consistent bridge justifying these beliefs in their heads, the evidence just slides off the smooth brain like water off a duck’s back.

Your last point is the problem! He could use his ridiculous money and power more effectively - he's a fucking multibillionaire head of a global megacorporation (and often arms manufacturer/military supplier so yeah great job Brucey). He could fix Arkham easily with his pocket change, it's just not done because yeah the story "needs" him to beat up mentally ill and neurodivergent people. That's the meta-criticism of Batman as a character and franchise, that it is in no small part fundamentally grounded and based on those things.
True! I think I worded it poorly in my lack of sleep lol. I think I was more on about the weirdness of Eru just 100% importing the all knowing/all powerful/all loving god issue and ofc that’s not gonna get resolved by Tolkien in his fantasy books
