Not really comparable to guns, making it harder to get a physical object is much different from preventing people from downloading software. Even 3d printed guns require equipment and knowledge to make use of the download.

Obligated to have the video feature. Meaning all phones would eventually be required to have the capability to use it, it would still be optional for the caller to allow it. Like how where I am we have the options of calling or texting 911.

There's a bunch of people at the side of the road by the local mall every day with tons of flags and signs like "good bless America because Biden doesn't" and "defund 🇺🇦 refund 🇺🇸". Yet during protests by democrats they're all going on about how the democrats protesting must have no jobs and should be working instead of protesting.

I bought a set on end tables yesterday that had a $20 off coupon to clip. It's the same exact deal today except with the prime day exclusive label too. The only thing I ended up ordering for prime day was a 3 pack of usbc chargers.

Nobody is federated with threads because threads doesn't even support federation yet and there's no actual ETA for when it'll launch.

I have the same setup. You just need to make sure the domain info is private when you first register it because if the whois history is cached somewhere and your info was public before then it can still be found.

It would solve the verification problem that twitter has now that they want organizations to pay thousands to be verified. Instances ending in a .gov domain would be obvious legit government accounts.

Does the image get stores on the poster's instance or the instance hosting the community they're posting to?

Yeah, that's exactly how you use it.
