I dont know you so I'll keep my frankest description in a spoiler. But if I were your friend I'd be telling you gotta shoot your shot. Especially if you don't have resposibilities (ie. Children) that prevent both of you moving from being possible.

Sometimes things have to be sacrificed to gain happiness. Jobs and Houses can be replaced, and while thats certainly a long term problem, its not an immediate problem. Just plan some long weekends together.

Your description of a couple countries over makes me think European, if that is not the case and you are instead seperated by an ocean, I still think its worth a shot, it'll just have to be longer breaks than long weekends.

spoilerYou're clueless, noone messages a 20 year past crush out of the blue without aleast a smidge of the hope of making it work this time.

And a chicken-shit, what are you scared of? You say you're passionate and it takes a long time to fall out of love. Not getting it in the open will cause this to fester and grow, and you'll never get over it.

I think if you tell her you're into her and want to see her on your next vacation/long weekend she'll say yes.

Epstien did replaced adults with children first. I suspect these dipshits will be remembered just as fondly.

If this damn breaks, it would flood montgomery county which is down stream, and more specifically Dayton, oh.

This petty scheudenfraude you're feeling is both misinformed and frankly the behaviour of a shitty person. The people most harmed by Trump will always be children who cant vote.

If we aren't cheering for children on welfare being punished for thier parents being poor, we shouldnt cheer for children of republicans being punished because thier parents are stupid.

I've been the side guy in a similar date in a bar. But instead of calamari is fish eggs. The dudes deeply held belief was the flat earth lie.

Thanks for the reply, I had been operating under the assumption it was space junk because it didnt make any news and it appears noone else saw it and posted about it anywhere I can find.

It seemed to be a long lasting meteor (I would guess over a minute, but I didnt have my phone on me and it was over a year ago, so memory about actual length is untrustworthy) to not make an astronomy report but maybe I'm wrong.

Competitive Super Smash Bros Melee, we won't ever die. And Nintendo has been trying to rub us out since 2008.

Ironically, this lowered the percentage of chocolate in the candy bar.

One I love and haven't seen mentioned is Equalibrium, I've probably seen it 5 times, which is a lot of times for me. I see its ham fisted metaphors and raise you gun karate.

I love this fucking movie and noone else understands why, it's nearly perfect. Even John Stewart is there with truly terrible acting.

My pawpaws saplings I planted last fall are still alive!

They have started budding leaves. I know I'm a few years away from fruit production but I am curious if anyone has found good ways to attract pollinators outside of rotting meat. Not sure the city would be very excited about that prospect.

I am considering making a native carion flower plant garden near the trees to make area more attractive to pollinators prior to the pawpaws flowering. Was wondering it anyone else had tried that idea. I've found 3 somewhat promising options in my area of Ohio.

These seem to be an especially symbiotic options https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trillium_sessile https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trillium_erectum

And this could be grown if you have a bog garden https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symplocarpus_foetidus

Should I be concerned that Duo is coming for me?

I'm currently hunting down pawpaw trees, Blueberry bushes, black raspberry, and other native fruits for my garden.

Looking for suggestions.

I looked into black cherries, but they get too large and too easily wind damaged for the proximity I'd have to plant them to my house.

I've made it my mission to get banned from NextDoor while trolling the MagaHats. They won't stop sending me notifications. I've been stealing memes from the https://lemmy.world/c/shermanposting group.

So far I'm more or less been allowed to run rampant, so here are some of the hits.

The average brain weighs 1300-1400 grams. If 0.5% of that is plastic by weight, your brain contains 6.5 - 7 grams of plastic. The average plastic credit card weighs 5 grams.

I have no photos or videos, but I was on Topsail Island on vacation on June 4th around 11pm, where I saw a decently bright moving object erupt with a huge v-shaped tail for atleast 30 seconds. The tail was a faint green color. It fell from the eastern sky into the northeastern sky.

Google has been particularly unhelpful. Was wondering if you fine folks had any idea. I'm assuming space debris. But I cant find any other reports of anyone seeing it.
