Reality is starting to catch up to the 49ers and Purdy. "Evertying but the QB and figure that out later" doesn't work.
Panthers are absolutely capable of playing out of a bottom-2 spot. There's a very plausible world in which we get stuck with QB3 or QB4 in the next draft, and the QB Hell continues. You can't just assume you'll always get another shot to take one.
I've liked what I've seen from Young at times in Carolina. He can throw a *real* nice anticipatory ball. But he's gotta speed up. His OL isn't great but a better QB would play themselves out of these sacks.
He's so bad I'm genuinely worried they might play themselves into a top 2 pick.
