You really don't want to be using the social media that's effectively run by the same people as the gestapo. It's super likely to be controlled at this point, and thus not effective for activism or otherwise underground action/defense in a fascistic country

Sometimes it really feels like politics is just a game to some people, and not literal life or death.
I don't know about others, but in my friend group there's an unspoken rule that you do not record or take a picture of people without their consent. Or at least, if you do, to, say, capture a moment, you ask them if it's okay afterwards.

But also remember that asphalt is removed and re-applied about once every 20 years. The asphalt was probably redone at least 3 times. There's a lot of possibility for slight variation over such a long period of time.

I wouldn't say so in every situation. I'm sure plenty parents would say they would die to defend their kid, and I don't think that would quality for an altered mental state.
I mostly do agree though, but I do think you can sacrifice yourself as a rational and mentally healthy person. But it certainly not a choice that hypothetical person would make lightly.
