I'm surprised everyone having laptops and using them for school isn't standard. It's been standard when I was in school here in Norway a decade ago

Prohibition would not have removed drinking. Maybe it would have reduced it, but it would have made the current drug problem 3x worse, and given a lot more money to organized crime. The US probably would have been in a worse place overall

Drinking and driving is a problem though, and that being lessened would have been a good thing. But then again, you don't need to ban alcohol to solve that problem. Introduce actual and functioning public transport

Disposable vapes, not vapes in general

Banning disposable vapes are just a strictly positive thing

I think you see the start of a path halfway down the road on both sides

Who said you can't do it anymore?

You can explode without turning into pieces, though

I mean, small things like that add up, you want your stack as optimized as possible

A quarter of a second here, another quarter there, and suddenly it might take 2 seconds longer for a connection to form, which matters a ton. A lot of work in the modern web is going into reducing latency

I don't feel bad for south park, they've caused a fair amount of damage

The two men sold Truck Nuts through the late 1990s and 2000s, competing both in the market and in private, exchanging angry phone calls and emails. This conflict escalated into public relations wars, social media conflicts, posts on review sites, blog attack posts, and finally to legal cease and desist orders. Vice News published an article about the feud titled "Balls Out: The Weird Story of the Great Truck Nuts War".

I am so not surprised

Except this is also old people

I have seen so many old people blast their phone at full volume. I have seen barely any young people do it
