Wanna make a bet?

I want to remind you about all the things people said we were "overreacting about" years ago, how did that turn out in light of recent events?

Hello fellow Scandinavian

I share your worries, I truly think we're going to have war at our doorsteps sooner or later, and I don't really know what to do about it (beyond I guess, preparing mostly self-sufficient communities of like-minded individuals capable of self-defense, but yeah..)

It's definitively scary

I really don't understand your issue here. So should people not post their experiences and thoughts on social media?

It's a dedicated community for it, it's in the exact place it's supposed to be in. I don't see the point in restricting yourself because you don't want it to be on the front page or what not

Besides, it's still important to discuss the decline of a major user platform like reddit, especially since most of us here have personal experience with it, and likely have friends that use it

I think you meant "kingdom of Denmark" there, but yeah

It's great how, they might have list the contest, but it's undisputably the most "successful" piece of art that came out of it

I don't know what the contest was for, but the piece itself really struck a major cord with its target audience

They're creating a power vacuum, in other words

Alternatively, why not just.. let people be themselves and weird? Because they were annoying to you? So many people are annoying for one reason or another, do we need to discipline them for it? Moreover, should we? Or would that just be limiting our expression and enforcing uniformity?

It's literally the broken window fallacy

Ngl, stockades and free use.... Yeah

I mean, when you're morning person you also just spend all those daylights hours at work so

Unless you work outside, I wouldn't say there's that much of a difference

I don't know what you're thinking, but at a minimum you completely misinterpreted their comments

[–] SkyeStarfall@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 5 months ago

..why shouldn't they?
