I'm sure the billionaires that feel like they just have to travel the entire world in building-sized yatches, and living in gigantic villas, as well as having private jets to fly everywhere, would love to spend the rest of their lives in a security bunker with the same people (that definitively won't ever rebel).
Sometimes it is like that, despite everyone's best efforts. It's okay. As long as people had fun!

You'd be surprised how quickly you find people who like you if you're always meeting a few more people. Just gotta find "your people".
But that's exactly what would make it an amazing esport. It not only requires tons of skill, but looks awesome if you do have that skill. Seeing people accurately predict someone's movements when they are travelling really fast has a very tactile feel for the spectator, without having much game knowledge.
In addition, skiing fast over a vast landscape looks cool too!
