But that's where they live, and they're still part of the same damn environment that everyone else lives in. They're not inherently special. They're just as vulnerable to violent crime on the streets as the rest of us, or of climate disasters, or of dying of cancer. It's incredibly shortsighted

My position on it is that it's just a nude. It's not a big deal. Everyone has a naked body

Like, yes, of course think through if you're comfortable with it, but personally I don't really get why it's considered to be so scandalous

The funny thing is, 30/30 vision means the same thing as 20/20 vision

30/30 would just mean you see at 30 feet at the same clarity that typical eyes see at 30 feet

It's so incredibly shortsighted if that's actually the goal. If the US falls from its superpower status, it's unlikely it will ever get it back again

Interpreting facial emotions is wild. Tiny tiny changes can change the feel so much

You start out thinking that the fictional one-dimensional villains are realistic as a kid

Then you grow up and realize that they were just intentionally overdone hyperbole

Then you grow up even more and realize that the fictional one-dimensional villains are very real

In my friend circle it's very common to use gm as one of the typical greetings

Maybe it's pointless to abbreviate, but let's not pretend language is all logical and rational. There's reasons for why people use it ranging from it being part of your speech identity, to preferring the flow to it, to it taking less space, and so on

A lot of it is just vibes based

I wonder if it's because coffee raises blood pressure and heart rate, and helps counteract the atmospheric density being lower in a plane
