But that's where they live, and they're still part of the same damn environment that everyone else lives in. They're not inherently special. They're just as vulnerable to violent crime on the streets as the rest of us, or of climate disasters, or of dying of cancer. It's incredibly shortsighted

My position on it is that it's just a nude. It's not a big deal. Everyone has a naked body

Like, yes, of course think through if you're comfortable with it, but personally I don't really get why it's considered to be so scandalous

The funny thing is, 30/30 vision means the same thing as 20/20 vision

30/30 would just mean you see at 30 feet at the same clarity that typical eyes see at 30 feet

It's so incredibly shortsighted if that's actually the goal. If the US falls from its superpower status, it's unlikely it will ever get it back again

Interpreting facial emotions is wild. Tiny tiny changes can change the feel so much

You start out thinking that the fictional one-dimensional villains are realistic as a kid

Then you grow up and realize that they were just intentionally overdone hyperbole

Then you grow up even more and realize that the fictional one-dimensional villains are very real

In my friend circle it's very common to use gm as one of the typical greetings

Maybe it's pointless to abbreviate, but let's not pretend language is all logical and rational. There's reasons for why people use it ranging from it being part of your speech identity, to preferring the flow to it, to it taking less space, and so on

A lot of it is just vibes based

I wonder if it's because coffee raises blood pressure and heart rate, and helps counteract the atmospheric density being lower in a plane

And very likely not something I will put into practice haha

Needing to be responsible for a child would be too much for me, I would not be able to cope. I already get routinely overwhelmed and burnt out

Yeah it's like, I'm not gonna watch a movie when I'm sitting on the toilet or taking a short break on the couch. Same reason for why I go on here when I'm on the tram or similar

It's intentionally meant to just be a low effort break activity. You very much can watch or read short-term media with intention

The older I get the less I understand how people are able to even get to a position where they're able to have kids comfortably. I feel like my life is just a constant mess of putting out one fire after another, not the mention the state of the greater world
