I much preferred the old days where you just paid for a game and there were no adds and no in-game purchases. Twas the golden era of cheap entertainment.
Finished watching The Last of Us season 2. I didn’t like it.

I haven’t played the games, so have no preconception of what the show should be like. I didn’t like the main character developing into an even more dislikable person than season 1. Yes yes, not all characters need to be likeable and I get the whole anti-hero thing adds complexity to a storyline, but it was too much. I was just constantly annoyed by her, and constantly annoyed that everyone pandered to her. For someone to be an anti-hero they need redeeming features. I struggled to see any. And the big shock in episode 2 where the character I liked most was killed off, it left me disappointed because I thought he was the best part of the show. The whole thing was just one long string of miserable fallout due to an arrogant self-indulgent persons actions. The end.
I’m really sad to hear Magda Szubanskis cancer diagnosis. I have had very many belly laughs from her comedy talents over the years. And she seems like a genuinely great person. I hope she can make it through.
I noticed some red leaves on a maple today, maybe the colours turning has been late because we had such a warm sunny April.
So sorry to hear, such a difficult life event. Hopefully things can continue as amicably as possible, and when the dust settles the healing begins. It can take time, let your emotions take their course.
I feel cold, even though the heating is on, and I’m on the couch under a blanket. I hope I’m not getting the lurgy thats going around.

Don’t look at it as a bad thing, you did something productive, - the paperwork getting sorted. Still a win.
I was today years old when I first tried Marmite. It’s milder than Vegemite, and almost seemed a bit sweeter? Possibly less salty? I didn’t mind it, but will be sticking with Vegemite for the stronger flavour I’m used to.
