Hadn't heard of the ethical use of AI in movies. Still not sure I'm on board with AI anywhere, but glad SAG was okay with it and this is an area I could see not being a horrible, soulless implementation. Though I expect artificially altering the physical performance can make it more soulless, so maybe mixed bag at best.

The lip syncing still seemed "off" to me, but i was also looking for it in the trailer.

Did anyone watch the movie and can comment how it was in the full movie?

My understanding is it's "normal" conscription, but 10k more than last year.

I believe Russian officers have been "pressuring" conscipts to sign full military enlistments before their conscription year is up and that's part of how they have been keeping up with their losses, without sending "conscripts" to war.

The spiral was created after the rocket's first-stage booster, which blasted it off the ground, separated and the upper stage took over, he said.

As the booster fell back to Earth, it vented leftover fuel, which froze into reflective crystals.

"These crystals caught the sunlight, creating the bright spiral pattern in the sky," O'Donoghue said.

"The spiral shape happened because the tumbling rocket was spinning as it released the fuel."

I think the video is from Ukraine looking at the Ukrainian sky.

Edit: Video is not from Ukraine, but the effect was also seen from Ukraine. This just appears to be a good video of the phenomenon that could also be seen in Ukraine.

Based on some assumptions (the list of your comments a mod deleted and the responses to your deleted comments that weren't deleted), it really looks like you went out of your way to start a fight when you were corrected about how to refer to a marginalized group.

My suggestion would be to block the community and move on. You don't seem to be able to follow their rules and they don't want you there.

Paywalled.

Can someone provide an archived version?

I made a comment a few days ago about Russian artillery loses being over 94% of there prewar stockpile. I don't belive NK has sent more than a few hundred (500 maybe), so I think you're right and Russians are able to repair a non-negligible amount of the systems.

Thanks for your thoughts on the subject.

I want to know where they are getting them from. Based on the number lost they should be scraping the bottom of the barrel already, not increasing usage.

Maybe the "destroyed" artillery is salvageable if you combine a few "destroyed" artilleries together. They are behind the front line so they could be able to recover most of them and try and repair them.

Any thoughts?

ReportingFromUkraine had a video a few days ago that mentioned Russians putting up netting like this near Pokrovsk (possibly different city/area). The Ukrainians used artillery to destroy a portion of the net and then sent in the drones through the gap.

I would suggest starting the invite process with the people who were in the community before it went awry. You can also make a post about how you're starting a new community in the old community and explain what will be different in the new community. I belive this happened recently with the "196" community becoming the "oneninetysix" community when the mods made decisions the users didn’t like.

Being mod of the new community would allow for removal of unwanted users. Additionally, if you were admin of the instance, you could block other instances that had users that tended to not match your stance on issues.

Hopefully, that helps.

That's awesome to hear.

Hopefully, the newest reddit influx will be able to settle in without any/too many issues.

You appear to have asked a vague question and people responded on what they thought you meant with your question.

You seem to be interpreting that as people trying to take your money rather than seeing that what you are looking to understand and what people are answering do not line up.

Another user has already given you other information that looks like what you were looking for, so I won't bother reiterating.

I just want to say that I hope in the future you'll try not to assume people interacting with you are trying to take advantage of you and there may just be a disconnect in the conversation.

Regardless, best of luck with everything :)
