Sounds like an odd headline with the dead hiker being a secondary item, but I suppose the hiker was reported in October and this is just a follow-up on the dog.

A good walk spoiled and they won't even let you walk on a number of courses. Have to use the little electric cars.

I sit next to a DBA and it can be really feast or famine for him. If there are patches to install or a failure of some sort he may work a 12 hour day. Other times he is just monitoring systems and reviewing performance reports, maybe 4 hours work. If he is involved with a development effort, then it is more engaging work and more of an 8 hour day.

Not very likely due to the weight. Same with the trunk suggestion, there was a lot of air space and gaps in the few skulls that were preserved to make them weight less.

The last thing you want to help you sleep is lights flashing in your face. Buy a book, not too interesting but enough to keep you reading for a bit. My go to book for years was Don Quixote. Lately I switched to David Copperfield. The Count of Monte Cristo would also be a good one.
