Feels like a security issue to me. You could put in literally anyone's email address on a site that does this and immediately know if they have an account there or not. Even if you don't know their password, you know something new about that person.
I feel you on all these other ones too. There's a lot of UI/UX designers out there that need to be barred from that field forever.

At the end of the day here's the truth of the matter. This will not change, and it will bother you for the rest of your time together. If this is actually annoying enough for you to post this here, it will only get worse over time. You're not gonna get used to it, you will likely grow to resent her for it. People don't change, not really. Decide now, this is a deal breaker or not. There's no way this behaviour doesn't bleed into other shit in your lives. Not surprised, the several quotes I got to install them on my roof were crazy. Could have got a new roof like twice for the price of putting solar on top. And this was a couple years ago before all these new tariffs.

Marianas Trench - Masterpiece Theatre album has Masterpiece Theatre I, II, and III on it. My favorite album of theirs. The songs from this album actually permeate the rest of their albums after this one.
Sleeping With Sirens - If you were a movie, this would be your soundtrack. A five part musical of sorts that's really well done.
