Thank you! Another reason why I like it here so far is that every interaction with people has been positive. Greatly appreciated!

Holy cow! 24 years! I knew he has been playing Wolverine for quite awhile, but 24 years playing the same character is insane. And he just keeps getting better at it. Haven't watch the new Deadpool yet, but I'm absolutely looking forward to it. Heard good things.

That's a bummer! I took a vacation week last month, only to wind up spending the whole week sick. So I feel for you there. Hopefully the sprain heals quickly.

Been dealing with nicotine withdrawals which have resulted in a lack of sleep all week. But I'm getting through it.

Someone from my place of work passed away Tuesday night after being hospitalized last weekend. A solid reminder that it could be worse, so I'll keep my complaints to a minimum.

Sitting on my butt dealing with nicotine withdrawals. Haven't gotten much sleep all week.

Remove content they don’t like while pushing content in my face that I don’t want to see.

Between the constant ads and politically divisive subreddit recommendations that plague my Reddit experience, Lemmy feels like a breath of fresh air. I actually see the stuff I want to see, and am not having garbage pushed onto me.

I did install all the dependencies. My guess is that I probably made a mistake somewhere while installing them. Regardless, I wasn't able to get it working, and I didn't have enough time to really mess with it further.

I might try it again from scratch this weekend if I have time. Maybe try the graphics quality trick if I can't get Buffout to work, so thank you for that suggestion.

It's definitely different if you're getting paid for it. I plan to get into I.T. within the next year or two if I can, so I'm sure I'll have to get familiar with Windows 11.

I mean, technically I do use Windows 11 daily at work. Gotta be able to order stuff, send emails, and manage my time card. All that is done on a Windows 11 PC. But nobody is paying me to put it on my home PC, so I'm not going to.

I suppose it's time to fork Firefox. Can call the fork "Netscape Navigator". Ya, I think that has a nice ring to it.
