You're trying to talk sense to people of an extremist 'comply or die' style ideology here. Proper leftists have empathy enough for the well-being of their fellow humans and the planet we live on to recognize that simply burning everything to the ground benefits nobody. The overarching premise is that while conservatives obstruct and defend their behavior as 'no big deal' liberals are much more likely to say go ahead and put them on trial if their own fuck up. Consider the charges for the last 3 presidents impeached, there are 2 Republicans acting in a outright criminal fashion to use their office for personal gain, and one Democrat who got a BJ. The type and scale of crimes against the public is pretty heavily weighted in one direction.

The big challenge with a leftist/liberal alliance to work against the would-be dictators come at least in part to the method and level of moral compliance demanded. To take some from the other comment I saw, Al was accused by several women of various things, probably the most egregious mentioned as having his hand on the side of someone's breast during a photo. There are far too many hard line leftists who would have someone blacklisted as no better than a maga supporter for that, or at least their online personas would, for something that could have legitimately been an inadvertent error and putting it in the same basket as the current admin.
