"WHY ARE YOU BUYING CLOTHES AT THE SOUP STORE????"

I made bathtub potions! Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, gel, soaps of all kind!

I was hoping it would eventually result in a cool familiar...... and one stormy night.. it did! Found an awesome tabby cat hunkered down in our outdoor cat house, meant for our claimed claim.

He was hissing and screaming, and stupid me stuck my hand in there and pet him. He stopped being angry the second I touched him. Named him Sublime. It was a common sight to see me walking around the woods wearing him like a scarf. Loved that guy. Miss his dearly. Sweet angel.

Whoa wanna hang out? (:

If you think I'm defending Christianity in the slightest, maybe read it over a few more times, yeah?

All I'm doing is using what they claim believe to magnify their hypocrisy.

Know thy enemy or whatever.

You can be sensitive while also being bold. You can be kind while also being firm. You can be helpful while also being strong.

None of these things cancel each other out.

Unfortunately, the shittiness of "BEING A HARD MAN" typically embodies a lot of shitty stereotypes about """masculinity""": must limit your emotions, never apologize even if you're wrong, don't do """girly/sissy""" things, etc. It's garbage.

A man who lets his nieces paint his nails and isn't ashamed of that isn't less of a man. A man who cries during romantic movies isn't less of a man. You know the drill.

I'm a formerly of the faith. I've read it all an uncountable amount of times.

The New Testament is kinda of a "new era" for the tone of Christianity. The sacrifice of Jesus was the old ways being re-written and ushering in the new way. His death made it so people no longer had to make blood sacrifices and offerings in order to be forgiven. It really is a beautiful story.

The absolute selfishness and barbarism endorsed by many modern-day "Christians" would make Jesus weep.

Luckily, Jesus also promises that they will get what they are owed in the end.

So I have a serger / overlock machine that has a manual specifying that it uses a needle type called "HA-sp1" needles. Alternatively, they are also called "HAxsp1" and "15xsp1". They're all the same thing.

So I was in a bind because I had no needles for the machine! And I'm on a deadline!! Those needles aren't sold locally, and I don't have a day to spare.

Turns out, the Schmetz company low-key confirmed that their 11/75 & 90/14 "Stretch" needles are very very similar to the HAxsp1 needles.

I tried it, though I was not optimistic. Hours later, no breaks, strikes, or any other funny business! HALLELUJAH!!

Change to the proper needle specification, when you can, but, as a temp, it seems to work just great!

So, to summarize:

All these three needles are literally the same thing: HA-sp1 , HAxsp1 , 15xsp1

The alternative needle if you're in a pinch: Schmetz Stretch needles, size 11 or 14, depending on how heavy your fabric is (11 for light - medium & 14 for medium - heavy).

Happy sewing!

Be sure to vote today, if you're able! Do your best!

Beautiful creature.

I am not a tech person, but I cleaned out my secondhand PC today, and it took hours with the sheer amount of dust accumulation. The fans were nearly overloaded with it!!

Does a clean PC run better / faster than one filled with dust? Or is it more a matter of keeping the fans running easily? Or something else..? Idk, maybe I imagined it, but it seemed to boot much faster after cleaning. Could be wishful thinking!

I'm in need of more images ~~to steal~~ to collect. Please post your favorites!

Make sure you put questionable/NSFW behind spoilers, please.

Also, where do your images come from? Mine came mostly from 4ch×n, D×scord, and R×ddit (which I no longer use).

Here's some of mine:

My absolute favorite:

And only sometimes.

Before people start asking in the comments, the website is a niche fashion archive.

Every time I go outside to my yard, my elderly neighbor comes out and tries to talk with me. Every. Single. Time. Without fail. I go out to relax and do gardening and yard work, and his presence makes me increasingly anxious & leaves me feeling particularly uncomfortable/unsafe.

He is dealing with dementia, and has become increasingly vulgar and outspoken, and even made some vastly inappropriate remarks about his wife & my other neighbor while my child was right there.

His wife is tired. I know this. Christ, I would be, too. He was kind of insufferable even before the dementia got bad (think him talking about his shitty political views), but, god.. I am so tired of babysitting him while I try to unwind in my own yard. He'll talk over the fence or simply waltz past it and follow me around while I try to do stuff or as I'm trying to talk to my kid.

One thing I know is this: do not piss off your neighbors, because, chances are, you will probably be living next to them for a looooong time.

What can I do? I just want peace without feeling like I'm being accosted.

Always wondered what happened to them. So happy they're safe & sound!

Let me recommend: Bill's Hot Dog Stand in Ypsilanti.

It's a drive-in. Open your window and eat in the parking lot. Get their dogs with everything on it + a mug of root beer. If you don't eat dogs, at least get the root beer!!! I don't even like root beer that much, but I now dream about the root beer from Bill's.

Absolute reasonable prices, too: got 4 dogs & 2 mugs of root beer for around 10$ total!

What's your recommendation for unexpectedly good food in Michigan?

The noise scared my lizard something frightful!

Everyone was okay and no one was badly injured. Except for a patch of my lilies. But they're pretty resilient.
