I suspect there will now be a criminal investigation into manslaughter charges against the management. There was a lot of concerning evidence around your point during the trial but it is a process. The innaction that facilitated these murders sound like an absolute shambles.

He said it was more common than you would expect. So it is a subjective matter. I happen to agree with him as I would expect the figure to be none in a developed country.

It is shameful and embarrassing where we have ended up as a country. I really hope, for everyone's sake in this country, that a new government can turn things around improving the quality of public discourse in the process. It's a big ask.

To paraphrase, he wanted to finish on a high, at a big test with a home crowd. He went on to say how happy he is with the team and it sounded like he wants this team to be his last memory playing.

As much as I respect his decision and follow his logic, I'm not sure I fully understand it from an outsiders perspective.

He's had a long and storied career and good luck to him!

There is a project "Xlinks" to build an HVDC cable from Morrocco to the UK for this purpose. Who knows if it will succeed but it does have real backing.
