remember kids: fortune tellers are always right in video games. the devs can't help themselves.
this wasn't people feeling kinda off but weird shit like closets opening and closing and a constant sound of furniture being moved upstairs - This being a collective and the upstairs being the living room we checked a bunch of ways to make sure no one was up there to move furniture while the sounds were being made and we could never find a cause. Other spooky tales as well.)
When buildings heat and cool they expand and contract, and they make a lot of sounds besides creaking. Oftentimes the slippage between members comes in short periodic bursts, or it can slowly drag across the joining surface, etc. It can definitely sound like something knocking around or sliding.
As for the closet doors opening and closing, they have a lot of surface area and the hinges can be balanced enough that a very imperceptibly light wind can move them. A lot of times you can move them with a pinky finger, now imagine that much force spread out over 10 square feet. It's nothing.
As for spookier shit - I know you probably heard this before, but carbon monoxide can make your brain see a looooooottta shit. Pretty much anything.
Hexbear is capitalist decadence
The thing about young people is that they aren't important electorally because of their vote. They don't vote as much. But they are very important for their free labor in Democratic campaigns. They bring out the olds. And they are extremely, extremely demobilized this year.
Last I heard it was at 8 or 9 percent. Not quite as good as Michigan but still a fantastic result. Another swing state looming over him. Even before tonight I have heard confident claims that they are panicking over uncommitted/etc. It's the only thing affecting this outcome, however slowly
Yeah apparently the margin of error is only 5% so even if it's not 100% it's still incredibly close. I'm sure there's one weird ass out there
This is exactly why even Kamala Harris is doing her half-assed distancing maneuvers. Leaking that it's "Joe's war"
She wants to be the president (my first reaction to that is to laugh but uh, our president is Biden right now so I wouldn't count her out unfortunately) and she fully understands that:
- Joe Biden is the absolute high point for Israel support in the Democratic party
- Liberal media will forgive her relative silence because a VP being loyal to the President is paramount in their minds
- She nonetheless desperately needs to disassociate herself from this, and is hoping to make up for this liability by doing some kind of last-minute bandwagon jumping onto pro-palestinian rhetoric and possibly actions depending on where this all takes us.
- She can claim to have worked on the inside to temper the bloodthirstiness, as if we hadn't heard that before
It should stick to her though. We need to make this stick to her.
Remember when you said joining the Navy would make me a man? Heh, well funny story,
Yeah Pepsi and Coke are not on here. The person running after Hasan wasn't going off of BDS, they were going off like, who does business in Israel.
I mean, you do you. Shouldn't be drinking that shit anyway. But there's a reason BDS isn't calling for consumer boycotts on monopolies and duopolies.
Joists moving against each other don't always sound like creaking, they can really sound like BANG... BANG BANG.... BANG. And this kind of expansion would happen year round.
And yeah even a closed room, air can go under or around a door or window and be strong enough to push a closet door.
