I am sorry but I find this comment pretty dumb. For one, it is beneficial for Alonso to fight people on a different strategy because when he has a slower car, it is more beneficial for him to slow down the opposition car to his as compared to waving him by and maximising his own race time. He does let verstappen by easily because he knows that even if he fights him tooth and nail, there is no chance of keeping him behind.

Secondly, yes he made a mistake against sainz by getting overzealous in defending but that is a rare mistake for Alonso. The Russell 'brake check' on the other hand is very contentious. He mostly just rolled of the throttle (didn't brake much) to compromise Russell's corner entry. It is naughty but people have done that for years at this point. What was different in this case was that Russell was busy changing settings on his dash and didn't do anything to respond to Alonso's move which resulted in him crashing. It was erratic driving yes but it dangerous only because Russell was not paying attention. I think it was blown way out of proportion by the stewards.

Yeah Yuki struggles at tracks which are new for him. I think that is one of his major weaknesses. If one needs proof, look at his results in 2021 - all his best drives came on tracks he had driven as part of his f2 campaign

Unbelievable how all of the euphoria went to smoke within 3 hours

Max + RB is just on another level compared to others. Lewis also had a very impressive race considering where George ended up

Even as a fan of the bundesliga, I am shocked that Dortmund had the mentality to pull that off. Also athletico was surprisingly open. I had expected to them to stifle Dortmund but they couldn't

I guaranfuckingtee you that if Israel gets glassed by its numerous opponents in the Middle East because America held up aid over Gaza.

I don't see how america holding up aid will instantly result in Israel getting glassed. It should be theoretically feasible to stop aid to Israel unless a) Israel stops its murderous campaign in Gaza or b) Israel comes under attack from a non Palestinian country. Unless Israel will fall within a few days, the US should be able to back them in case of an attack even though aid was previously being held back.

@Ilikecheese@lemm.ee has the right of it. @Mastengwe@lemm.ee, to search for a user not on your instance, you have search for 'username@instancedomain'. If you only search the username, it will search only in your local instance.

Edit : but when trying to tag somebody, it is able to search through other instances so maybe there is a way to implement the same technique to the search section.

Edit 2 : all my points above are for specifically how voyager behaves not how lemmyui and other clients do.

Might as well give the title to city now. They have a much easier run-in than you guys and Liverpool

also, just checked, I don't have the amd-pstate driver active, I'm still on acpi-cpufreq. I'll tackle that one of these days if everything works fine.

What kernel are you running ¿?

Well for them, it was not a simple lab experiment. They spent years coming up with, designing and conducting the experiment. Also Michaelson and Morley were brilliant experimentalists so they managed even with the challenges of their time.

The fact that we are able to do it within one or two lab sessions shows how much both technology and our understanding of physics has progressed since then.

Well lasers need undivided attention because moving even micrometers results in loss of interference. Should have just watched the match lmao

Isn't there precedent for VAR to call play back for a pen even after the final whistle. I swear I remember it happening in a man united match
