Definitely; my local PFS group is really awesome, but I travel for work and have played with a couple of others and they can be hit or miss.

I think they're gearing up for it. I think the Starfinder Remastered is their way of pre-playtest playtesting before they actually announce anything.

That being said, as someone who grew up on 3.5 and PF1e and now plays PF2e, I loathe the ruleset for Starfinder, not because it's a terrible ruleset (it is), but because I can never keep track of which system the rule I need in the moment is supposed to be from. I love the writing of their PFS scenarios and APs, though, so I'm really hoping for a polished SF2e to be announced soon.

Amiri and Valeros are good as well; if all else fails, hit them with the big pointy/slashy thing that you're holding.

Awesome, I need to actually google things before I ask. I'm heavily considering a 2-in-1 for a device (I also need it for work stuff, homelab coding, and school work), so I'd be interested in hearing more about how the Yoga worked for you and any pros/cons that you've recognized when you have some time.

It may not work as well as a polished app, but Pathbuilder's web interface (https://pathbuilder2e.com/app.html) looks decent on Android and might work in the meantime until something is developed for iOS.

You mention that you could search in OneNote for handwriting, does Rnote not have good support for natural handwriting? That's one of the things I'm looking for is a device that can handle natural handwriting well so that I can just make notes quickly. What tablet are you using?

Had not heard of the Oracle Always Free server. I was planning on hosting Foundry on my RPI Nomad Cluster at home, but that might be a much easier way than trying to fight with my ISP about router settings.

Are you developing the wiki or using a base for it? I use mediawiki for my homelab documentation, but am now thinking that it might be a really good reference tool for players and myself in longer campaigns.

I am working on setting up an online campaign (when I actually get time to work on it between other projects and work), and planning on using Foundry for it, so it's nice to see some additional tools that can make life easier. Any suggestions on the Foundry modules?

Technological items would be really cool. I don't want them to necessarily change the rarity of those things, but more exploration into Numeria would be cool.

I would be all over a Firebrands based AP as well.

I think they have alluded to season 5 of PFS having some inter-planar themes. That doesn't mean that they will put an AP out with the same ideas, but I think that, combined with the themes in Rage of Elements means that we have a high probability of seeing more planar travel in the near future.

I love all of the Shadow Absalom stuff, so I think a change in planes with its own set of rules that adjust gameplay slightly would be awesome to experience.

As you mentioned, I've used One Note in the past, but having moved away from Windows systems, I can't justify messing with the web-based version. I've used Evernote in the past, as well, but I'm also looking for a solution. I've seen Obsidian come up recently, for other topics, and so I've got it installed but haven't actually played with it any.

I can say that Google Drive/Docs is a really clunky way to do it, but works in a pinch. I don't think I'd ever try doing that again unless they added features and/or plugins that really improved the experience.

Additionally, I mostly run PFS scenarios, and the way that I prep those is with highlighters. I print out a copy of the scenario, yellow highlighting is for mechanics/DCs, pink highlighting is for story, setting, and worldbuilding (because a lot of it gets left out of the canned blurbs that they hand you to read to the players), and orange is used for optional/conditional things. In the margins I make extra notes like if a check is secret, or if I need to reference some stats from a different page, also reminders for exploration activities and hero points. On the stat blocks, I highlight the main mechanics, but also write in what actions the NPC will perform on their first turn (if it's complex), or other notes about how an encounter is supposed to work.

I know that an AP is going to be an entirely different beast than running a PFS scenario, but hopefully you can get some ideas that are helpful out of that. I'm also looking to get back into running APs soon, and I'm considering solely using Foundry VTT for it.

I'm using Jerboa for Android and liking it so far. It doesn't have all of the features I'm used too (used Relay, Baconreader, and Sync in the past) but it seems to be going in the right direction.
