Erlang maybe a better tech choice, but it's still a pretty bad take. Tons of much larger scale applications built on either njs or python. I certainly don't think that tech choice is what's killing Matrix. Maybe one could argue general incompetence or lack of experience on the developers though

He's saying its likely got cane sugar, which is basically "less" refined sugar. It seems unlikely it has no added sugars and likely what they are trying to say is: it has no high processed sugars/artificial sweeteners.

I feel like owlcat has done a good job with this in their games. They feel complete and if you like the game there are DLCs with decent amounts of extra content. Also really like that the DLCs are integrated into the game (usually) and not just an extra chunk tacked on

You have to read the other chat logs. Arstechnica has a good summary I think, the link between "coming home" and suicide is specific to the kids chats with these AI.
