No computers in the September events

I’ve noticed it specifically in places I’m only visiting occasionally.

Driving in Hamburg is horrible, my condolences.

In Germany it’s a trend to park on the road (not just one car, but the whole street) in towns and cities, so one constantly has to wait for upcoming traffic to go on. What was once a temporary spot at most, where you had to turn on warning lights, is now standard. Not sure when this became legal or if it’s just overlooked because there are too many cars in this fucking country and we need to fit them somewhere.

It is certainly a very mild concern compared to other growing trends in Germany but just one that came to my mind that no one is talking about.

Exactly why I did not want an ink printer.

Chrome for development (because our customers use that) and Safari for iOS/Firefox for personal usage

It’s not unspeakably excessive but I bought a laser printer just to print out the „manual“ of Shenzhen I/O. Played the game for a week or so.

I do use the printer about once every two months though.

There are very good mobile games without subscriptions, virtual coins, loot boxes and shit. Some examples on iOS:

  • Sawblades
  • Ollies Arcade
  • Knotwords
  • High Rise

Maybe that’s different from state to state. I grew up in Hessen but don’t remember having mandatory swimming lessons. I learned it mostly on my own so I don’t even have a „Seepferdchen“ and know a few people from NRW who don’t either. I remember there was the option to do it in school but not sure why I didn’t take it then.

Either way, not being able to swim at all is pretty rare in Germany because going to the pool is a popular activity for kids here.

First one I remember is Lufthansa as a kid. Back then I liked it but my recent experience with Lufthansa Economy or flying in general is horrible.

I’m using it much less than Reddit for that reason but less social media is a good thing in my book, so not complaining.
