I wonder if the EU regulation even dictates that web apps on the Home Screen need to be able to run in third party engines. It was mainly about browsers.
It’s sometimes helpful when working with libraries that are not well documented. Or to write some very barebones and not super useful tests if I’m that lazy. But I’m not going to let it code for me. The results suck and I don’t want to become a „prompt engineer“.
I'm a web developer and used to work for companies focused on SEO over quality. It's a pain in the ass and takes all the fun out of the job.
I didn’t like it personally. It seemed like a dream come true but the third dimension from a player perspective makes it annoying to build anything and generally confusing I find. Will see how Shapez 2 handles the jump to 3D.
I love and talk a lot about factory games (Factorio, Shapez, Factory Idle,…) but I don’t think any of my friends would ever get into it. But I don’t really care.
I kinda understand the appeal but there are just too many other languages that have a real practical use for when I’m traveling and want to speak to regular people instead of a secret society.

Smoked for about 15 years, tried a few times to stop, never worked. Made myself a promise to stop once I get a dog. Got a dog and stopped smoking with no problem.
Possible contributing factors:
- When it was time to stop I was already pretty disgusted by smoking. I just needed a last push.
- My mind was in a more positive state after I had a deep depression for a few years. I was also more conscious about my health because of that (see previous point)
- My friend group and work place used to be full of smokers and somehow that changed over time, so I was often alone with my addiction
Do you often hear the ringing of switching power supplies and devices when you are in a quiet space?
Yes some of my smart bulbs make that sound when they’re off or on low power. I’m 38. I do have a mild tinnitus as well but it’s on a different frequency so I hear the difference.
