People who filled out the 2021 census in England and Wales were asked: "Is the gender you identify with the same as your sex registered at birth?" According to the ONS, 262,000 people - around 0.5% of the population - answered "no".
The ONS states that there are 60,238,000 total people in England and Wales.
Gender critical people, almost always cis women, can go to hell. They go out of their way to try (and lately succeed) to suppress any support for trans people and to exclude trans women from any space that is oriented for women. They fear monger, calling us perverts and degenerates that want to prey on poor, defenseless, innocent women.
Anyone who advocates for the disenfranchisement of trans people is an objectively shit person. We just want to live our lives and not be singled out for discrimination.

I remember before these things came out. It would typically take forever to get through the line to have a cashier ring you up. There was always an old person in front of you that wanted to pay via check, which slowed the line down even more. How about the guy using his 2-way, on speaker, in front of you? That fucking chirp going on and on. What’s that? Someone wants to buy a lotto ticket, which means the cashier has to go to another counter to get the ticket and come back. Next, the soccer mom has 20 coupons she wants to use, half of which are expired or are for a different store. It was so much fun!
I much prefer the self checkouts. I can get through those within a few minutes. It sucks that those cashier jobs have mostly been eliminated. But that’s the price of progress I suppose.
I have lowered the amount of nicotine in the juice I make. But getting down to 0 has been very difficult to do. Actually putting less in is not the hard part. Sticking with it is the hard part. It’s really easy to just make a new bottle at the level I had before that. Idk. It’s hard to explain.
I’m still hooked on nicotine. These days I mix my own juice, use refillable pods that last me a good month with two rechargeable batteries that I swap between. It’s very cheap when one does it this way. Quitting is obviously the best way to go, and believe me I’ve tried, but I keep coming back.
I’ve given up opiates, coke, and weed. But dropping nicotine is a real bitch.

They are sycophants. They do not have any actual convictions, those are dictated to them by Trump. The most fervent supporters have already fallen in line, with the rest to follow shortly.
So better not to vote at all, which effectively was a vote for Trump.
I get it. Having convictions and sticking to them is important. Having a clear conscience knowing that you did not support either candidate for their stance on the genocide is important.
But the effect that Trump has had on society in the US is immeasurably terrible. The deterioration of ties to our Allies is insane.
Would deportations have decreased under Harris? Likely not. Would she have called for the gestapo to disappear people in broad daylight? Likely not.
Would she have applied pressure on Bibi to stop the wholesale slaughter? Perhaps, but I personally doubt it. For fucks sake, Trump has advocated for the forced relocation of the people of Gaza, so that he could build a resort.
The harm that he has unleashed on our country is incalculable.

They are acronyms that trans exclusionary radical feminists use to refer to trans people. They don’t use “MTF”, “FTM”, transwoman or transman.
You can tell whether someone supports us or not by looking for language such as that.
The metal is smooth, but not shiny. It is super bendable. As soon as I realized what it was, I stopped handling it and washed my hands.
Lead is heavy, but seems such an odd choice for a weight in a consumer device. It must have been cheaper or even free.
I don’t follow that argument. Am I really doing actual work? Spending 5-10 minutes scanning some items and then paying?
Is this some sort of “principle of the matter” thing? Because it seems like one of those arguments for arguments sake.
If you went to a cashier, you still have to put your items on the conveyer belt. The only thing the cashier is doing is scanning the items and placing them in bags. Most people pay by card, which again is something that you do yourself.
I don’t buy the whole “YOU doing the job” nonsense.
