There's a narrative, a cannon, a lore built around Trump. It's not even Trump that they fear it's his following. They fear the populist movement and the MAGA crowd. They want it all to go away. When I read liberal comments these days it seems like they truly want censorship and authoritarianism to shut down the MAGA sentiment. When I was a teenager I remember liberals were more edgy and pro freedom of speech. Pro liberty.
