Me irl tbh
On Android I highly recommend Retro Music, it's free and open source, available on the FDroid store. It's fast, has a great interface, and supports ~gapless flac playback~
I'm listening through Hell of Presidents and the episodes immediately before and during the US civil war are a hell of a thing to listen to with the ongoing refusal to reckon with the ethnic cleansing in Palestine on my mind. The political apparatus in this country has never, ever changed. Any real social issue just gets kicked down the road until it turns into mass death.
If your city or region has an active antifascist group, inform them. My hometown used to have regular nazi gatherings, now they've all been doxxed and had their lives ruined. They are ruthlessly effective.
Oh real shit I will keep wearing that thing forever for this reason alone.
The territory that a Count rules, obviously.
It's maddening how inefficient software has become in such a short time. Processing power and memory sizes kept growing and growing, and I guess everyone thought they didn't need to be thoughtful about how they use it anymore. Now everything is so bloated a current Windows PC with 10's of GB of RAM idles using more RAM than most Windows 7 machines ever had installed.
Lots of people have already recommended secondhand compact PCs, like the kind most public libraries use to provide public computer access. As an alternative, if those are hard to come by in your area, I would recommend finding an old Lenovo Thinkpad. Even thinkpads as much as 10 years old remain very serviceable, significantly more powerful than most single-board project computers, and their power supplies only draw about 65 watts maximum, much less than the average desktop power supply. I have a few I've collected, and one sits under my router permanently as my personal server. In fact, I'm sending this message from one right now!
So that's like. That's the receiver from some dinky varmint rifle, and I'm just guessing like a homemade cast aluminum frame? Am I understanding this correctly? Honestly got to respect the effort.
As always, deeply grateful to live in a place powered by combustion-free power plants.
Well we won, obviously.
Pink spaghetti, mostly.
