How can cells know what it's like to be a cell? What capacity do they have to perceive information, what organs do they have to store memories and examine them?

I don't know if that is blaming Native Americans for their own genocide. It doesn't matter how hard they fought back, there was no possible scenario where they could have won and prevented the genocide.
The US saved itself time and effort by offering compensation to get them to leave, and the point being made in my view, is that at the time they convinced themselves that some compensation for being driven from their home was better than the alternative, but if they had knowledge of the future and the suffering experienced by themselves and their descendants, more might have chosen to fight to the bitter end.

Oregon's aircraft production at the time this map was produced was negligible as far as I can tell. The naval production in terms of tonnage of all the west coast states was significant, but didn't come close to matching the east coast yards.
Am am somewhat surprised by the size of Louisiana and Texas considering that they both produced a lot of ships, but tonnage is king I guess.
A lot of the west coast's industry was only developed towards the end of the war and post-war.
For raw material inputs, Pennsylvania had enormous amounts of coal, and a lot of iron.
For logistics, the whole northeast area had the most developed rail network in the country at the time alongside extensive canals.
For shipbuilding contracts, New York and Boston accounted for a big chunk of the US's total ship production.
Detroit alone produced something like half of all the war material in the US.
The map is not unreasonable. I like it because it's obviously someone's AD&D campaign that one guy derailed with a bit character.
I wouldn't recommend it obviously because of all the shitty parts, but the later show has similar vibes to my first experiences with TTRPGs.
Also the opening and ending songs are generally pretty catchy.

Researchers need to afford to live, and that money comes from research grants. If this was even a problem, which it isn't, the root cause is capitalism.
