People are legitimately blaming Fields.....it's astonishing. The coaches made the exact same decisions that a coach attempting to throw a game away would make. If you didn't know any better you'd think these coaches had money on the game and needed DET to win.
If any "This is on Fields" posts get upvotes this sub is doomed. No one who even remotely understands football should be blaming him. JF and the INTs were the only reason we were even in that game.

Anyone who blames Fields for this can go fuck themselves. This coaching staff lost that game. It was either an intentional loss or the dumbest coaching I've seen in a very long time.

That sack was easy. No Sweat.
We are beating the second best team in the league. Who knows if we'll finish ahead, but this is only possible with JF at QB.

Jesus Fields comes back and our line instantly gets worse. Although we're obviously playing a way better team. After that first drive they started bringing the pressure. They're getting back there before the hand-off sometimes.
Fun while it lasted.....
JF would have been gone without that trip up.

Win. Partially because I always want to win, and also so the Fields haters can shut up. Not that they will, but they tend to go silent when we do well. They come out in droves when we lose, regardless of who's fault it actually was.
Some people will bitch about QB no matter what, but I want the rest of the season to be so promising that the haters get laughed at when attempting their usual crap.
I'm not talking about legitimate rational criticism. I'm talking about the insane group of people who say shit like the loss to Det was JFs fault. The ones who scream about JF holding the ball too long even after he gets hit in half a second while attempting a hand off.
Sadly. Even multiple record breaking games won't be enough to stop these people, but a good performance should at least make them quieter.
