I spent roughly 2 hours getting into geoguessing...

I did some quick and easy ones, with like obvious signs and stuff. After spending 30 minutes tracking down flight info based on the time the photo was taken, I decided I didn't have the dedication for such things and if I couldn't figure it out in 2 minutes based on signs and landmarks, I'm okay with not knowing the exact location a picture was taken.

Hats off to the stalker-level people who can pinpoint the specific 30ft area in a cornfield a video was taken based on time of day, the color of the dirt, a specific toad croak at 12m37s into the video, etc....

I got banned from about 15 subreddits I never even knew existed once by calling out a transphobic dogwhistle, and when I inquired about the bans, the mods insinuated I was a child molester and neo-nazi.

You cannot convince me that your findings in anything are unbiased when you believe in something with no evidence.

As a person of faith, you would not abandon your faith if presented with evidence that says your god doesn't exist, you would abandon science and simply ignore it, or worse hide/sabotage it.

As one of the former enlisted you speak of, I say feel bad for the individual that didn't see any other way out, but still call them the easily exploited idiot they are for agreeing to go die for the current regime.

They heavily police what enlisted personnel can watch and who they interact with when on base and everything, so it's a little easier to understand why one of them who doesn't have many left leaning friends might not see "the other side" of the conflict, but I would argue you cannot be an adult in modern day and see things the administration gleefully admits to, and then think any conflict they desire would be justified.

I would happily sit my ass in a prison cell for refusing to go to war in the middle east, but then again there's a reason I didn't last long in the military. Not even long enough for them to make an "honorable vs dishonorable" determination lmao.
