So far, I am enjoying PieFed.social and there are features on it I wish I had before. Originally, I joined KBin.social but KBin ended up being abandoned because the owner had health issues. So I moved to both MBin and Lemmy. Things were going good for a while, but, sometimes I would unintentionally attract the ire of antagonizing users from certain instances. This is not my first account in the fediverse, this is probably my 8th or 9th go at this.

I would last about 1 - 2 months at most before I ended up deleting the account because of the toxicity I was facing from a handful of users. I would get tired of having to individually block them whenever they came up, because they were usually from about a couple of instances that just seemed to have the most toxic users from. Least from experience.

PieFed at least gives me the ability to block entire instances, which is crazy to me. I don't mean to say that everyone is a bad apple from X instance, I'm not going to talk of what they are. It's just, there were enough bad apples to where I warranted myself in blocking that instance because they've given me the most trouble and ruined my experiences numerous times in having a nice, engaging and healthy time on the fediverse.

They already are. It's called - sales.

The problem are people going out in droves, willingly spending $70 or more on special editions. They've caved to FOMO and it is a them problem.

We're still in the best age of gaming where there are sales in all directions.

I would want cremation. Cremation and a simple marker. I wouldn't be buried at all at my marker, because I would actually want my ashes spread in two separate places. One is somewhere in my hometown and the other spot, probably around the recreational area of my middle school, where I had commonly found peace at.

My marker would have a Red Sox emblem, signifying fan for life to that team. The other symbol would probably be a resemblance of rebirth/reincarnation as a reflection of my beliefs, so presumably a phoenix would go there. Not entirely sure what exactly I'd want written on the marker. Debating on a personal quote or just say "Logged off for the last time" which references from all of the time I've spent being online.

You will need two things.

  1. Google Voice Number (yes I know, Google)

  2. Wi-Fi calling

If your phone plan expires for whatever reason and you think you can't reach your voicemail again to see if anything was missed. You can call the voicemail itself by jotting down the number of which you call your voicemail by and input your password to that voicemail through Google Voice. I just discovered this yesterday when I couldn't use my phone because my minutes were up.

To try and control impulse shopping, I immediately grab an item I think I want.

I will continue shopping for things I actually want/need, until I look at or feel for the thing I originally grabbed. I will lose sense of interest of grabbing it and put it back.

It takes practice and time. Especially works if you know, are low on money anyways. The idea of this is, to get you thinking about what it is about that thing that made you want it and whether it would have any use or make you happy having it.

If it doesn't after the time you've been having it around, be it holding it or in the cart, then it wasn't meant to be. It was simply an impulse.

While I have a very jaded relationship now with their music, Disturbed's What Are You Waiting For.

Realize and understand that you are one person. You can handle only so much on your own.

This will all take a great collaborative effort on the shoulders of the many. So, you focus on you, until everyone is collectively together enough to do the right things necessary.

Capitalism.

It's easily disprovable, but even in the face of countless arguments against it, people still willingly throw themselves into it by the millions. They're too fearful of the unknown, they're fearful of belonging somewhere when we die and religion is the prime example of how easily controllable people are when they're fearful.

Enough remakes. Especially if it's just resolution and upscaling.

It is not doing anything for me. The art style is meh.

PieFed.

It is an optimal experience already.

We are being distracted from the bigger picture.

The bigger picture being is, look at how much corruption is dominating us. We've been played, we're continually being played and it seemingly looks like we're always going to be played. The more time we take up to social media, to complain about something we absolutely disagree about with how things are ran and in hopes they 'read what they say'. Well, that's giving them more leverage because we're screaming into the void and only getting just virtual pats on the back.

And it's like, we KNOW what is wrong, we KNOW who is the problem and we KNOW exactly how everyone feels. But, we allow ourselves to be distracted by what? A Super Bowl half time performance? It's like we're all too busy looking for things to cope with than brainstorming how we're going to get ourselves out of this mess.

The more we choose to cope, the more we're allowing them to get even more of a stranglehold on us.

Just yesterday, I completed an application for snap benefits. That's all I wanted and needed assistance with. Because I'm a part-time worker, my finances at times get strapped because I'm paying off a loan from a bank and it makes my working budgets feel a little compressed. I need some breathing room here.

I hope I get them but I never intend to be on it forever, I just need some financial security and resource assurance. I've always tried being a person who looked to things like this and only go to them when I needed them, not because I wanted them and mooch off from them.

That thing would be so smudged and contaminated. No thanks.

No point.

If they're going to make you require the Blizzard launcher and a Blizzard account anyways, what's the point?

I already had it for a couple years when it was only on Blizzard.
