But do you chug 4 energy drinks at the rest stop? I think the original commenter's point, energy hopefully aren't something you drink in such large quantities.

But do you pound 3-4 of them in rapid succession, enough to get you drunk if they were accidentally spiked?

I'm more concerned about people who may have substance abuse issues getting accidentally drawn in.

highlights the emergence of four continental-scale “mega-drying” regions, all located in the Northern Hemisphere

Just give it time, I'm sure Microsoft, Google, and Meta are just waiting for the right moment to bring their data centers to the global south. They'll take care of the lack of mega-drying regions ASAP.

Option 1: Fried Green Tomatoes.

Option 2: Let them ripen - tomatoes can ripen off the vine pretty well, a lot of people recommend harvesting them early to reduce chances of pests beating you to the punch.

We created a totally secure and definitely unguessable (Probably Unique)™ identifier system - an MD5 hash of FirstnameLastname-DOB

Oh also with this new totally flawless system, you're now legally obligated to recite I'm full your (Probably Unique)™ 32-character hash to any ICE agents who request it. Failure to do so will result in detainment.

For immigrants, we will happily tattoo your (Probably Unique)™ hash on your wrist for your convenience.

There's literally nothing but Fender co-branded products in the US. Kinda sad actually because I want this open source speaker

Yes BUT, the US government can fine them whatever they want / threaten contracts / revoke their ability to do business in the US.

Ultimately their ability to function in the US is largely dependent on them doing whatever the fuck the government wants. If forced to choose between the US and EU, they're almost always going to choose US.

People still raw dog the internet without ad blockers in the year of our lord 2025?

I opened it and saw precisely 0 ads (aside from the article itself trying to sell me DK) on FF for Android.

Its gonna be something distopian AF, like every scientist now gets public "science scores" based on number of attributable citations and everyone now tries to game their science score so they can secure tenure.

Did you link the wrong Garden of Life pill bottle? That one is "vegetarian", meaning cellulose capsule, "vegetable blend" filler, and lanolin active ingredient. They have another bottle though that does say uses D3 from lichen.

Probably ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I avoid them at all costs because Nestlé
